Fresh off playing net four years in net for UMass-Amherst Minutemen, goalie Paul Dainton(30) was signed by Springfield Falcons to see what he could do with the team south of the AHL Calder Cup playoff picture.
He’s proven himself pretty well in the 3 games and as one of his former teammates said after Dainton got his first professional win, if he sees the initial shot he’ll stop it and there won’t be a playable rebound.
