Anton-Blidh

Boston Bruins‘ 6th round pick in the 2013 draft (#180 overall) Swedish-born left wing Anton Blidh(64) has played the last pair of seasons professionally in the SHL with Frolunda for all of last year and split 2013/2014 with Karlskrona in tier 2 Allsvenskan.

In 83 combined games he’s scored 6 goals and 6 assists in the two leagues.

He played his entire juniors career in Sweden.

The 6’1″ 192 lbs. forward that plays with a ton of spunk has decided now is the time to try his hand at North American hockey signing his three-year entry level deal.

The thinking seems to be that he will start with affiliate Providence Bruins but this 20-year skates with enough fire that he may give the parent club something to consider out of training camp.

He’s been in two early summer development camps and has definitely garnered attention for his style of play.

The 20-year is a bit of a deep selection but could surprise early.
