Undrafted 3-year defenseman Ian Young(7) goes exploring for his next on ice adventure signing a one-year deal with Fife Flyers of EIHL.
He put up a new, modest career high 3 goals and 8 assists for Elmira Jackals in 44 ECHL games last season.
Those scoring totals outpaced anything he did in four years at Colorado College.
The 6’1″ 200 lbs. signed his first deal with Mississippi RiverKings of the SPHL, skating 23 games recording 11 assists, before being loaned up and sticking.
At 25-years old, he should be able to affect the score sheet more in England but will definitely be a welcome addition for his tough to play against, shut-down style.
