Undrafted 2nd year right wing Josh Kestner(26) signs a 1-year AHL deal with Grand Rapids Griffins after helping 1st year team Newfoundland Growlers to the 2019 ECHL Championship.
The 6’1″ 189 lbs. forward was actually signed by Toronto Marlies last season but played only one game despite skating three games scoring 1 goal after completing 4 years at University Of Alabama-Huntsville.
In his senior year at college he scored a mammoth 24 goals.
The 25-year old will have to compete hard for a roster spot but he definitely has what it takes to make it.
