10th year, former Arizona Coyotes‘ 1st round pick in the 2006 draft (8th overall), center Peter Mueller(88) jumps ship after a year with Providence Bruins to EC Salzburg of Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

He put up decent numbers scoring 13 goals and 12 assists in 56 AHL games, his first time skating for a minor league club.

The 6’2″ 209 lbs. forward played 6 seasons under an NHL contract but missed the entire 2010/2011 with post-concussion syndrome and had signed with St. Louis Blues for 2014/2015, but decided to opt out for a 2nd campaign for EHC Kloten of NLA, where he put up his best numbers: a league leading 24 goals and 23 assists.

It’s easy to think the 29-year will once again elevate his game in Austria but might move on elsewhere if that happens.
