With a name like Rhett Rakshani(10) you wouldn’t expect him to be born in Huntington Beach, CA but that’s what I’ve read. He signed an entry level deal with the Islanders after finishing up his college career but will have to earn his call-up by first proving himself with their AHL affiliate, Sound Tigers. He potted one in the 4-3 OT win and is just a bit off being a point per game player.
