Whale forward Tim Kennedy(13) signed a one-year deal with New York Rangers after Buffalo walked away from the $1 million arbitration award he was given in the off-season for the 26 points he put up. He has yet to suit up for the NHL team after playing 78 games with the Sabres last season.
He’s basically a point per game player in the AHL and scored the opening salvo at the Whale Bowl.
