Former New York Islanders‘ draft pick (#2 overall in 1995), Wade Redden was given a 6-year deal at $6.5 million per season in 2009 by the New York Rangers.
This season he was waived by the big club and assigned to their AHL farm team, Hartford Wolf Pack, where he’s played 16 games with the team earning a whopping $81,250 per game.
