Vegas Golden Knights‘ undrafted 4th year center Gage Quinney(72) makes his NHL debut in his hometown with a recall from affiliate Chicago Wolves.

The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward skated 15 shifts for 9:09 of total ice with one shot on net but was only 20% at the face-off dot.

He has a solid 14 goals and 17 assists in 45 AHL games with a +7 rating this season, which are not far off his career highs from last year (19-24-43).

Not bad work for a player that started his career under contract with Wheeling Nailers and spent his entire rookie campaign with in the ECHL scoring 18 goals and 26 assists including 5 multi-point efforts.

He would next sign with parent club Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and continued to put up good numbers to gain notice, which led to his first big league contract.

The 24-year old former 2015 WHL Champion with Kelowna Rockets is set to become a first time restricted free agent at the end of the current session but odds are he’ll be re-upped on a one-year extension.
