Colorado Avalanche 7th year center T.J. Tynan(36) gets a one-year extension after skating a career high 16 NHL games grabbing his first point, an assist and leading affiliate Colorado Eagles with 42 assists and 47 points in 42 AHL contests.

The 28-year old has three times ascended to 40+ assists in a season and once had a career best 59.

Two years of 30+ assists at University Of Notre Dame said it all and he should be able to continue at the highest level but it would be no surprise to see him leave for say Sweden when he’s ready to wrap things up.
